Beethoven Center Noontime Concerts

Join us for some light refreshments and desserts after the recital. The Center will be open until 3 pm. All are welcome.

Beethoven in Manuscript: Sources for the Late Quartets
A masterclass and lecture-performance celebrating the Beethoven Center’s recent acquisition of manuscript materials relating to the Late String Quartets.

10:00 am to 12:00 pm: Chamber music masterclass with Christopher Costanza (emeritus, St. Lawrence String Quartet)
2:00 pm to 3:30 pm: Lecture and performance with Dr. Erica Buurman and the Juniper Quartet: Featuring a performance of Beethoven’s “Cavatina” from the String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 130, and the complete String Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 127
