American Beethoven Society Convention
July 24-25, 2015

The next Convention of the American Beethoven Society will be held at The Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies on Saturday, July 25, 2015, in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary Celebration honoring the founding director, Dr. Will Meredith.

The program includes seven fascinating presentations followed by a free outdoor all-Beethoven performance in honor of our anniversary by the Symphony Silicon Valley. During the convention you will also have the opportunity to see the Beethoven Center’s special exhibition, “Beethoven’s Politics, Politics’ Beethoven: Two Centuries of Revolution, Wars, Tyrants, Censorship, 1789-1989.”

For those of you who arrive early, the Beethoven Center will be open to ABS members only on Friday, July 24, from 11 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. By now you should all have received your invitation to the gala at the Silver Creek Country Club that evening, which is now sold out. However, if you are interested in attending and haven’t yet sent in your reservation, please call us at 408-808-2058 and we’ll place your names on our mailing list.
